SYRACUSE, NY – Movies, popcorn, special guests and drawings for free tickets to the Rosamond Gifford Lecture Series will all be part of the new “Discovering the Lecture Series” project at the Robert P. Kinchen Central Library. The project will show three films – The Kite Runner, Little Women, and Nobody’s Fool – and will host book discussions of North River, Water for Elephants, and The Nine: Inside the Secret World of the Supreme Court.

The films and book discussions are designed to introduce FOCL’s lecture series to a new audience, and to offer a fresh way for series subscribers to explore the authors’ works. The films will be shown on Sunday afternoons in the Curtin Auditorium of the Central Library in the Galleries, while the book discussions will be held on Tuesday evenings on the Browse About Level. All events are free and open to the public.
